Striking it Rich in Silverton
Today was one of those days where everything lines up. There was talk of heli rides, but after rolling in with a few new inches on the ground and snow flying through the air we decided that we should just spend the day riding the lift and accessing the stuff that the heli couldn’t. Our guide, Chris stepped up to the plate and delivered the goods!

We got firsts tracks on the Dope shoot, Stooges, and Tiger Face all of which offered a nice soft surface snow with a supportable layer beneath. Tiger Face, our last run of the day was the ultimate hanging snow field with a sharp right turn and then a nice short couloir to make some turns on. All and all today was sick and there is talk of a big storm coming through so tomorrow we might head back over to the Resort to get some more of the good stuff.
